Congratulations to the winners of Britain in Bloom 2024
The results of the Britain in Bloom 2024 UK finals have been announced, and we are delighted to see so many Amberol customers being celebrated for their gardening achievements.
Overall winner
A huge congratulations to Bath in Bloom, who have won the top place of Overall Winner on the 60th anniversary of Britain in Bloom – and 60 years on from the group’s first overall win in 1964! Bath in Bloom also won the ‘Gold’ award in the Small City category.
Anyone visiting Bath can marvel at the group’s floral displays across the city’s streets and leisure gardens. Not only did the group’s gardening craft impress the RHS judges this summer, but also their ongoing community engagement initiatives.
Amberol is proud that Bath in Bloom have used our Large Barrel Planters, Hanging Baskets and other self-watering planters throughout the city for their eye-catching displays.

Highlights from the category winners
St Ives in Bloom in Cambridgeshire were the winners of the Large Town category.
Their beautiful blooms and work with their local community impressed the RHS judges when they reviewed the group’s hard work over the summer.
Their community gardening projects used Amberol’s self-watering planters including the Box Planter, Floral Fountain Planter and Amphora Precinct Planters. You can learn more about St Ives in Bloom’s Friendship Garden in Amberol’s recent blog.

Forres in Bloom in Scotland won the Town category award. Visitors can enjoy the group’s floral displays contained within Amberol’s self-watering planters such as the Cup and Saucer hanging baskets dotted around the town.

Glastonbury in Bloom won an RHS Discretionary Award for Exceptional Public Engagement in Arts & Culture. The group have been using Amberol’s Hanging Baskets for their floral displays over the last few years to conserve water more sustainably.
They have also been using Amberol’s self-watering Barrel Planters for larger displays, as well as the Two-tier Barrel Planters.

Our autumn/winter photo competition opens for entries on 1st November 2024 and runs until 31st March 2025. Results will be announced in April 2025.
Entering is very easy; just submit your photos of Amberol’s self-watering planters with your wonderful displays via the online form on the Amberol website. Your photos will then be entered into the public vote.
