What are the benefits of our talking bins?
Deliver the right message - our educational bins, Ambere and Percy Penguin can be fitted with an optional 2GB voice box and volume control that allows you to record your own message or song to activate every time rubbish is thrown into them.
Promoting recycling - are educational bins are available in 18 standard colours which means that you can easily colour code different bins for different uses. We also have options for including clear WRAP approved labelling for recycling purposes.
Our bins are robust - our playground bins are made from a hardwearing recycled polyethylene making them virtually maintenance free and vandal resistant.

Ambere is a large, friendly, waste guzzling bear! With a lockable opening door to the front, the inner liner can be emptied easily and safely. The optional voice box can be programmed with a polite message or greeting.

Congratulations to Sandown Green Town - Winners of Amberol’s Spring/Summer 2025 Photo Competition!
We are delighted to announce that Sandown Green Town has been crowned the winner of Amberol’s Spring/Summer 2025 photo competition, which ran from 1st of May to 30th September 2025. Their winning entry received over 500 public votes, securing first place with a beautiful photograph featuring one of their Amberol tiered planters in full summer bloom. Their caption read: “Amberol tower planter looking stunning in its hot colour scheme earlier in the summer.”
How Tidy Randalstown Transformed Their Heritage Town with Amberol Self-Watering Planters
Tidy Randalstown is a volunteer-led organisation dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the beautiful town of Randalstown, a designated conservation area within the Borough of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. Known for its rich heritage and the scenic River Maine, the town attracts many visitors, making vibrant floral displays an essential part of its charm. In 2024 and again in 2025, the group used two rounds of funding to invest in Amberol’s self-watering planters, transforming the entrances to Randalstown and the riverside areas into stunning, sustainable showcases of colour.
