Britain in Bloom 2025 UK Finalists announced

Britain in Bloom 2025 UK Finalists announced

A huge congratulations to the 44 community gardening groups who have secured a place in the 2025 Britain in Bloom UK Finals.

What is Britain in Bloom and how does it work?

Organised by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), Britain in Bloom is the nation’s largest year-round gardening competition.

In Bloom community groups across the UK are encouraged to use gardening to transform their local areas and can enter one of sixteen regional and national Britain in Bloom competitions (whichever is closest), where they are given the opportunity to showcase their gardening projects. The highest-performing entries can then be nominated to take part in the UK Finals, which usually takes place in autumn.

Helping the UK’s villages, towns, and cities flourish

The 2025 Britain in Bloom UK Finalists will now compete to be crowned winner in one of eight categories, and will secure either an RHS Gold, Silver Gilt, Silver or Bronze award. One of the category winners will then go on to be named Britain in Bloom Overall Winner for 2025.

Throughout the spring and summer seasons, expect to see your local village, town, or city in bloom as the finalists prepare to impress RHS judges ahead of the summer season. This year, the groups will be judged again against criteria that has the environment, community engagement and horticulture at its core.

Good luck to all finalists!

Amberol has supported Britain in Bloom groups for over 30 years, and our products remain popular in preparation for the competitions due to their quality, weather-resistant material and self-watering feature.

Tim Troman Amberol’s Business Development Manager says:

‘It’s exciting to see so many Amberol customers in the 2025 Britain in Bloom UK Finals. Amberol products have long been used by community gardening groups to display flowers and foliage across the nation’s villages, towns, and cities for all to enjoy.

The self-watering planters are a particular asset to In Bloom groups since they only need watering once a week, which saves time, water, and money in the long run.

Good luck to all the entrants – I look forward to celebrating with the winners at In Bloom events throughout the year, and the award ceremonies in the autumn!’.

Our autumn/winter photo competition opens for entries on 1st November 2024 and runs until 31st March 2025.

Entering is very easy - just submit your photo of Amberol’s self-watering planters with your wonderful displays via the online form on the Amberol website. Your photos will then be entered into the public vote and results will be announced in April 2025.
