Amberol’s new brochure celebrating 50 years in business

Amberol’s new brochure celebrating 50 years in business

Amberol’s newest brochure is now available showcasing our wide range of self-watering planters. It also looks a little different to past brochures, celebrating our 50th anniversary this year with a gold background to mark this fantastic milestone. It is also illustrated with some stunning photos from our annual photo competition.

Within the brochure’s 28 pages you can find information about some of our new and improved products launched for 2019, including tiered planters with rounder, softer shapes. The new shape is an important design feature, ensuring that the self-watering planters look pleasing to the eye, even when plants are in the early stages of grow when replanting occurs. They have also been modified to ensure that the different parts and tiers fit together with ease.

The new planters also have a larger reservoir offering a greater water capacity, which means that they rarely require watering more than once a week – even during the height of summer.

Other new self-watering planters for 2019

Amberol’s self-watering wood-effect barrels, modelled on Hogshead barrels used to make whiskey, have long been one of our most popular products. So, in response to demand from customers, we have launched a new two-tier barrel planter in addition to the half barrel and the 630mm diameter barrel and larger 860mm diameter barrel.

In addition to new products, many old favourites appear in the 2019 brochure, from Cup and Saucer Hanging Baskets to Metre Square Planters which can be seen across the streets of the UK. With a 202-litre water capacity, the latter are always a popular choice. Our Town Entry Planters have also gone down well with villages, towns and cities looking to create a welcoming floral impact for visitors and residents.

As always, the Amberol brochure also includes some useful tips for assembly and installation of the different types of self-watering planters, as well as showcasing the range of accessories available including liners and mounting brackets.

A sense of colour

One of the easiest ways to create an instant splash of colour is by being a little more adventurous in your choice of planter colour.  The brochure shows the standard range of 19 colours that are available, including fuchsia, turquoise, orange and citrus green - in addition to the more traditional choices of differing granite hues and black. Customers can also specify their own colour to be made up for them at an extra charge.

But a brochure can only show you so much. In a world increasingly dominated by online retail, Amberol are unusual in that we offer a free, no-obligation demonstration service, no matter where you are in the UK. Seeing our products first hand is the very best way to appreciate the quality and durability that has kept us in business for 50 years.

A last word on litter…

Did you know that Amberol make and supply litter bins too? So, if you are interested in keeping your environment clean and tidy, Amberol can help with that too! Our litter bin brochure showcases some of our most popular ranges of litter bin.

Amberol support project to determine the impact of plants on health and wellbeing

The team at Amberol have long believed that plants and flowers have a significant impact on people’s mood, health and general wellbeing. However, there is a scarcity of hard scientific data to prove this theory. So, the company was delighted to be able to support a project developed by a PhD student at the University of Sheffield with the Royal Horticultural Society to research into a possible link between the two.
