Entries now open for the annual Amberol photo competition

As summer approaches, the streets around Britain (and beyond) are bursting into life with beautiful floral displays. So, it’s the perfect time to get out and about with your camera or your phone and take some photos of our self-watering planters to enter into Amberol’s annual photo competition.

The competition is now open for entries. All you need to do is take a look around you and if you spot an Amberol self-watering planter in full bloom, just take a photo and send it to us. Your photo could win you up to £1000 of Amberol products!

How to enter:

1. Look for the black and white or green and white Amberol logo on our self-watering hanging baskets, tiered planters, barrier baskets, self-watering barrels, stone effect troughs or large floor standing containers. (If you spot one with our old Belper address, it’s more than 20 years old!)
2. Take the photo.
3. Email your photo to info@amberol.co.uk or upload it here. You can enter as many times as you like before the closing date of Friday 15th September.

Don’t forget that edible plants can look great too!

The prizes:

1^st prize - £1000 worth of Amberol products.
2^nd prize - £500 worth of Amberol products.
3^rd prize - £250 worth of Amberol products

So, keep your eyes peeled for our self-watering planters, they can be found in streets, parks, playgrounds, shopping centres and public spaces across the UK, Europe and even the world. With their self-watering technology they create the perfect conditions for stunning floral displays.
