Did you know that over 1,000 communities from around the UK enter the annual Britain in Bloom competition every year? That’s around 200,000 volunteers up and down the country, putting an estimated 4.4 million hours into the campaign.
At Amberol we work with many of those volunteers and are constantly impressed by their dedication and hard work. We also value the amazing difference that the Britain in Bloom competition has been making to the UK’s cities, towns and villages for over 50 years. So this is one of our favourite times of year – when volunteers, horticulturalists, schools, businesses and local authorities received the recognition that they deserve as the regional In Bloom awards are announced across the country.
We couldn’t possibly mention everyone here, but we would just like to say well done to all those who entered and helped to make their communities a better place to live, work and visit. Not everyone can be awarded a Gold, Silver or Bronze but we all benefit from your dedication. So please persevere and keep up the good work!
