Planter Enhancement Makeover at Ladybarn Park in Manchester
Tim Troman Amberol’s Business Development Manager has had a great start to the year, transforming some old planters in Ladybarn Park in Manchester with Amberol’s New Planter Enhancement range.
The Friends of Ladybarn Park, is a local community group that is run by a group of volunteers that maintain and improve the park. Their commitment was recognised last year when they achieved an outstanding level 5 award for the 6th year running in the RHS and Northwest in Bloom Neighbourhood Awards.
Transforming old planters…
Amberol was approached by the Friends of Ladybarn park to transform some old and tired looking planters, after seeing Amberol’s New Planter Enhancement range.
Tim met Margaret Hora, one of the members of the Friends of Ladybarn Park and said:
“It has been a privilege to transform some old square planters at Ladybarn Park with our new planter surrounds, giving it a new contemporary and stylish look that can be enjoyed by the community. The new planters are filled with wonderful winter plants and are taking pride of place outside some buildings as you enter the beautiful scenic park.”
Easy to install…
Amberol’s New Planter Enhancement range has been designed to ensure it is easy to install. Tim installed the two new planter surrounds on his own at Ladybarn Park and said:

The planter self-levelling feet came in useful to level the planter up on the uneven surface. Margaret is thrilled with the new-look and is already seeking funding to increase the planters in the Ladybarn Park.”
