The sales team at Amberol is heading off to the annual exhibition held by the Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC) at the start of November. We are very much looking forward to demonstrating our products in person, because this is when people can see for themselves the quality and durability of Amberol’s litter bins and planters, made here in the UK at our Derbyshire factory.
So, if you are at the SLCC conference in November, what products will you be able to view on stand 28?
This bin is one of the best sellers in the outdoor recycling range, and is very popular with councils tackling ‘Recycling on the Go’. It also has an interesting history having been developed for use at the 2012 Olympics held in London. The Olympic Bin was located across the 2.5km Olympic Park and is also in use across 4 square miles in the London borough of Westminster, the site of some of Britain’s busiest streets.
The Olympic has a generous 180 litre capacity with two apertures; one for recyclables such as plastic bottles, paper and aluminium cans, and one for non-recyclables. This enables waste separation at source. The bins also have a fire retardant inner liner and two metal stubber plates and ash collectors for cigarette ends.
The Heritage Square Litter Bin is an outdoor bin and is part of the wider Heritage range. With its standard black body and gold banding, this classic range is designed to complement environments where a more traditional bin is required. It is also available in other colours on request. The standard Heritage Square Bin has a volume of 130 litres with a 110 litre inner capacity. It also has four apertures to make litter disposal easier, with a slam shut door that is diagonally hinged to enable easy access and comes with a four point latch for security. The surface is also ribbed to deter fly posting which can deface many bins.
With its curved body and additional tiers, the Amphora Precinct Planter is ideal for places such as town squares and open spaces where statement planters are required to bring the wow factor. The base planter is 0.8 metre in diameter and stands over 1.5 metres high with two central plant-up tiers to create floral cascades. Like all Amberol self-watering planters, the Amphora can be customised with local authority or business logos and is available in a range of colours in addition to the standard black.
All Amberol and Leafield products are made from recycled or recyclable materials with a range of optional extras available if required. Anyone visiting stand 28 will not only be able to see these products close up, but they will also have the opportunity to ask questions about any other Amberol products. And if you can’t make it to the conference, why not arrange a virtual demonstration as the next best thing? Just contact Amberol on 01773 830 930 or email sales@amberol.co.uk to find out more or to arrange your bespoke demo.
