We all need something to occupy our minds at the moment. So, Amberol has teamed up with Clerks and Councils Direct magazine to run an exciting new competition for councils with a prize well worth winning - £1000 worth of Amberol products.
The competition takes the form of a quiz which is printed in the May edition of the magazine. The range of subjects include the natural world as well as general knowledge. Answer all 15 questions correctly and you could win £1000 worth of self-watering planters or litter bins. All correct entries will be entered into a prize draw with the winner picked at random.
Firstly, you will need the May copy of Clerks and Councils magazine with the quiz questions. You can circulate the quiz to as many council employees as you like but there can only be one entry submitted per council. Copies of the questions can also be downloaded from the Amberol website here.
Once you have your council’s set of responses, email the answers to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject heading ‘Clerks and Councils quiz’.
The closing date for entries is Monday 1st June 2020.
Councils across the UK use a range of Amberol products, from litter bins, to self-watering planters to benches and picnic tables. Why? Because Amberol products are:
The winning council will receive vouchers worth £1000 to spend on any of Amberol’s rotationally moulded products and can choose from the wide range of litter bins, planters or benches. These could include:
Amberol’s barrel planters - one of our bestsellers, the barrel range is modelled on authentic hogshead whiskey barrels. There are three sizes available to suit different spaces and all have Amberol’s Aquafeed™ self-watering technology.
Amberol’s beehive planters – these self-watering planters create a stunning floral centrepiece in public spaces – and despite their size, still need watering just once a week.
Amberol’s animal bins – these are a big hit with both children and adults and include Percy penguin, the Amberol chick and Ambere – the Amberol bear bin. Perfect for playgrounds, shopping centres and parks.
Amberol’s Olympic Dual Bin – designed especially for the 2012 Olympics, this outdoor recycling bin can be seen on some of the UK’s busiest streets. Perfect for areas with high footfall to increase recycling on-the-go.
But of course, the winner is free to choose from the wide range of Amberol rotationally moulded products.
