Amberol’s free guide to container gardening is now available. Suitable for schools, Britain in Bloom groups, community gardening groups – in fact, anyone who is interested in using self-watering containers to make their surroundings look more attractive.

Container gardening has become increasingly popular over the past decade, enabling everyone, from young children to professional horticulturalists, to grow pretty much anything, anywhere. With outdoor space at a premium for many people, container gardening is a flexible and affordable option, enabling those living in urban areas or without gardens to create their own horticultural oasis.

There are few activities more rewarding than growing something, particularly when it enhances your environment or has a practical purpose. It is also relatively easy to grow a whole range of plants, including flowers, fruit, vegetables, shrubs and even small trees. And best of all, it’s fun!

Whilst growing plants successfully in containers is not difficult to do, there are ways of ensuring the best results. At Amberol we have been designing and manufacturing planters of all shapes and sizes for over 45 years, developing our own self-watering technology to produce containers that facilitate optimal growing conditions for all kinds of plants, from edible to floral. As experts in planter design, our guide can help you on your way to successful container gardening. Look out on our blog for some handy tips over the coming weeks.
