Celebrate the approach of spring in Amberol’s photo competition

From bluebells to primroses to pansies, spring flowers make beautiful floral displays, particularly when planted up in self-watering planters. And so, now is the perfect time to start snapping away, taking images to submit to Amberol’s biannual photo competition. Many community gardening groups and councils are also busy planting up displays to mark the forthcoming coronation of King Charles III on 6th May and we would love to see the results of your hard work entered into the competition.

When is the competition deadline?

The deadline for the next round of competition entries is 31st March, with results due to be announced in April 2023. Please note: any entries received after the 1st July 2022 Spring/Summer competition deadline have been automatically entered into this competition. 

What could I win?

With a prize of £300 worth of discount to spend on any Amberol rotomoulded products, from hanging baskets to tiered planters to litter bins, it’s well worth entering. Plus, it’s a lovely way to share your region’s beautiful displays with other gardeners and Britain in Bloomers.

How to enter your photos

The process for entering your photo is very simple and takes just a few minutes to do. Submit your image via the online form on the Amberol website. Your photo will then be entered into the public vote with the chance of winning the £300 product discount.

Your photos can be taken anywhere but must include an Amberol self-watering planter to be eligible for entry. To identify an Amberol planter, just look for the black or green Amberol sticker near the base of the planter.

Judging

In order to open up the competition to as wide an audience as possible, winners are chosen by public voting on social media. Entries are welcome from the UK and overseas. Please note that the £300 prize excludes carriage and VAT. If you miss the chance to enter this time around, you might want to make a note in your diary of the Spring/Summer 2023 competition which runs from 1st May until 30th September. Results will be announced in October 2023.
