What colours would you like your litter bins and planters to be?

What colours would you like your litter bins and planters to be?

At Amberol we believe in asking our customers what they want – and then doing our best to meet those requirements.

We are always looking for ways to improve and expand what we offer – and celebrating our golden anniversary in 2019 has got us thinking about the colour of our self-watering planters and litter bins.

Many people think that planters only come in the ‘safer’ traditional colours like black, grey or dark blue, but we believe that it’s important to bring a little colour into the world.  That’s why we offer a wide range of brighter colours, such as Burnt Orange, Citrus Green, Sunflower Yellow and Fuchsia as well as more muted shades such as Sandstone, Pink Granite and White Marble. You can view the Amberol range of colours here.

Add an instant splash of colour

Many of our customers work hard improving their environment by planting colourful and vibrant floral displays – so why not show these to their very best advantage by growing them in a brightly coloured planter to help create showstopping displays? In addition to our range of 18 colours, for an extra fee, we are able to supply litter bins and self-watering planters in a colour of your choice – or match to RAL colour standard and British Standard colours.

As well as brightening drab, grey areas, colour can be used to enhance local authority or business branding, or to make litter bins easy to see – and therefore more likely to be used.

Enter our survey and you could win £200 worth of Amberol products

One of the secrets of Amberol’s longevity is our relationship with our customers. When we are developing a new product or making changes, it makes sense to ask our customers and potential customers what they want.  And so, we would like to know what you think about colour through a short survey about colour which asks questions such as ‘Which of Amberol’s current colours do you favour?’ and ‘What colours would you like to see added to our range?’

As a thank you, we will be entering all those who take part in the survey in a prize draw to win £200 worth of vouchers to spend on Amberol products.

To take part just click here or hit the button below. The survey will end on 5th July 2019.

Customising your planters and litter bins

To further support personalisation and branding, at Amberol we can include your logo, crest or message on any Amberol products. This helps to promote your organisation and your message – whether you are a business, a public body, charity or an educational organisation. All you need to do is supply high resolution, print-ready artwork in JPEG format.

These can be added to any Amberol product, including hanging baskets, large floor standing planters, stone troughs, barrels, indoor litter bins, outdoor litter bins and recycling bins.

To find out more about Amberol’s range of self-watering planters, litter bins, planterware and seating, email sales@amberol.co.uk or call 01773 830 930.

From waste to wow: getting creative with chewing gum litter

Look down at the streets of Singapore and you will notice a significant difference. There is no unsightly chewing gum litter despoiling the pavement. That’s because chewing gum is actually banned in Singapore. However, we are unlikely to ever follow suit in the UK, and sadly there will always be people who cause litter problems with used gum. Chewing gum litter is a particular issue as it is both time-consuming and expensive to remove from public places.
