Autumn/winter photo competition winner announced
The public vote for Amberol’s autumn/winter photo competition on Amberol’s Facebook page has now closed. The winning photo chosen by the public vote received an impressive 672 likes for its stunning spring floral displays in Amberol’s barrier baskets.
The WINNER…
The winning photo featured radiant yellow Tête á Tête miniature daffodils, vibrant Heuchera green, purple and red foliage, Ivy and other plants in Amberol’s barrier baskets along Wickford’s high-street.
Congratulations to Wickford in Bloom for winning the competition prize of £300 discount to spend on Amberol’s self-watering planters.
The Wickford in Bloom group has received a lot of positive attention from their local community throughout the public vote, many expressing thanks for making their town a more beautiful ‘bee’ place with spring flowers and making their town feel loved and cared for… as well as bringing consistent smiles to the Wickford community.

Brandon Town Council Planters spectacular summer display in Amberol’s Octagonal Tiered Fountain Planter photo was second place receiving 291 likes. And despite the very hot weather conditions last summer, these planters kept blooming beautifully.
Making the attractive floral barrier baskets photo from Oldmedldrum in Aberdeenshire third place with 111 likes.

Thank you to everyone for entering the photo competition and getting involved in the public vote which generated a total of 1,778 likes!
The photo competition featured 40 photos featuring Amberol’s tiered planters and large floor standing planters with standout floral displays in tranquil wellbeing gardens, railway stations and even brightening up a roundabout! As well, enhancing our high streets across the country using our hanging baskets, up-the-pole hanging baskets and barrier baskets and window boxes.
Spring/summer 2023 photo competition
If you have missed out on this photo competition or would like to enter again, our spring/summer photo competition opens for entries on 1st May and runs until 30th September. Results will be announced in October 2023. We are excited to see these entries, especially with celebrations of the coronation of King Charles III taking place.
Entering is very easy; just submit your photos of Amberol’s self-watering planters with your wonderful displays via the online form on the Amberol website.
